Okay, so just like my Plurk suggested, I want to do a sort of boarding house type thing where people can toss their characters.

I've got two options:

a.) Normal: Basically, everyone's AUed as a human, and lives...more or less normally. Either the house could've just been built, or they could've been here for a while. Depends on if people would rather build CR or have assumed CR.

b.) Ayakashi-Kan 2.0: In Inu x Boku SS, the Maison de Ayakashi is a sort of mansion/boarding house for those of supernatural origin and their bodyguards. While bodyguards certainly aren't necessary, it could be amusing. Everyone has some sort of weird power or something like that. Probably a mix of assumed and CR building (if you'd like to be a new resident).

With those options out of the way, here are the other details I have laid out.

-8 Floors, Basement, Rooftop, Garden.
-Rooms are pretty large. Reference! (Yeah, they're fancy af)
-4 rooms per floor. 1st floor is lobby/cafeteria. 8th is communal bath.
-Max of 2 people per room. So a total of...28 characters? Unless there's demand for more. Maybe have two complexes? Opinions?

Cleric (Devout Pilgrim) Lv12
Dhampir
Neutral Good, Female/67 Years/5'2"/128lbs./Silver Eyes & Hair

Racial Traits:

-Undead Resistance: Dhampirs gain a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against disease and mind-affecting effects.
-Resist Level Drain: A dhampir takes no penalties from energy drain effects, though he can still be killed if he accrues more negative levels then he has Hit Dice. After 24 hours, any negative levels a dhampir takes are removed without the need for an additional saving throw.
-Manipulative: Dhampir gain a +2 racial bonus on Bluff and Perception checks.
-Dayborn: A few fortunate dhampirs were born during the day under the blessings of priests, and their blood has weaker ties to their undead bloodline than others of their kind. Such dhampirs are unhindered by daylight and lose the light sensitivity racial trait. This racial trait replaces the spell-like ability racial trait.
-Darkvision
-Low Light Vision
-Negative Energy Affinity: Though a living creature, a dhampir reacts to positive and negative energy as if it were undead—positive energy harms it, while negative energy heals it.

You awaken from a deep slumber to the steady beeping of a heart monitor, although before you is not the scene you would have expected. Something seems wrong, but you can't quite place it. In fact, do you even remember your name? Why are you here?

The sound of approaching footsteps catches your attention, followed by a gentle knock on the door of your hospital room. The door opens and a young nurse steps in, a welcoming smile on their face.

"Oh, you're awake! Wonderful! You're very lucky, you know. The Doctor saved your life, but we weren't sure if you'd pull through or not."

They seem genuinely pleased that you did. That's a good sign.

"You may have a lot of questions, but I may not be able to answer them all. This might help, though."

You're offered a pamphlet showing off an old-fashioned style hospital on the front, although pictures within show the interior which looks considerably more advanced.

Welcome to the Miskatonic Medical Clinic, the most advanced in medical research and technology!

The pamphlet goes on to explain a little about the services they offer, including surgery, experimental procedures, miracle drugs, and even a cure for cancer! It sounds like a wonderful place, but it sounds too good to be true.

...and of course it is.

______________________________________________________________

Miskatonic Medical Clinic is a short-term Lovecraftian horror/mystery game that takes place in a more or less modern version of Boston, MA. Characters awaken in what seems to be the most cutting-edge hospital in the world, although things very quickly start to seem off.

Strange sounds in the night, odd shadows moving through the hallways at night, the terrifying mists outside the doors. The elevator has floors missing, and the staff just seem so nice. And then of course, characters might notice changes in each other...among other things.

Can you solve the mysteries surrounding the clinic? You may wish you'd never been saved...
