School of Sacrifice? // Murderschool

Unexplained deaths began occurring in Seikyou Academy after a teacher was killed in a tragic accident. At first, they were believed to be murders, but it was quickly clear that something supernatural was the cause.

WHY?

With the shrine removed years and years ago, it was decided that was not the cause. But what was?

After a dozen or so such deaths, the academy was declared closed.

Not enough.

...but that was not the end. Whatever entity was behind this began dragging victims in from elsewhere, trapping them in the school grounds that have long since become corrupt with hatred, sorrow, and madness.

They can't see you...

The corpses of many have littered the grounds, countless deaths in the name of who knows what. Hints have been found as to what's going on, but nothing has yet been solved. Can you alter the cruel fate that awaits you?

They can't help you...


School of Sacrifice is going to be a murdergame. Characters can and likely will die at some point.

There is a sort of overarching plot that characters can solve whilst trying to survive in the haunted school. Expect elements from Corpse Party, Dusk Maiden of Amnesia, and other horror settings.

During the day, the buildings are absolutely normal with electricity and running water and all that fun stuff. But once the sun sets, the buildings change. Rotting floors, shattered glass, broken staircases. Traps. Spirits.

Each week, someone is expected to die. Preferably murdered if the school has its way. The first week will be a test of sorts. Afterwards, strange things will begin attempting to coax characters into killing each other.

Probably going to have 2-3 posts a week? 1 for beginning of the week/general mingle. 1 for body discovery/investigations (2 if there are a ton of comments), and another for a 'trial' of sorts.


Odd Notes and Stuff:

-Graveyard-type thing? A place for dead characters to do things.
-NPCs: Ghosts, maybe an investigator or two or something, idk
-Map: School and surrounding grounds. Landmarks. Things outside the school grounds look fuzzy. I suck at art-things, so will need help with that.

-Characters start in main high-school building. Each death will open more of the school grounds.

-Power loss. It's a thing.

-Timeframe? Maybe six months or so at max (OOCly, so about a month or so ICly)? Don't want it to take forever, but I don't want it to be like, BAM it's over, either.

-Maybe a comod to help things out a bit.

-Super short & sweet apps. Friends and friends of friends only.

-Character cap: Hardcap at 30. 4 per canon max.

-Characters may be tempted to kill each other for things that may help them live longer...provided they don't get caught.

-Good end, bad end, neutral end?
